Matt LeBaron September 24, 2010 September 24, 2010 I've got one on my 90 gallon, works well so far. Was nice when I was getting the tank set up, told me when the temperature was getting higher and I was able to get a small fan to keep it where I wanted it to be.
NBoris September 24, 2010 September 24, 2010 I have one in my 20 gallon with plants and it has never failed me and is well worth the money
Jan September 24, 2010 Author September 24, 2010 I bought it because it has a cover which protects my seahorses. It's s smart looking piece of equipment.
FearTheTerps September 24, 2010 September 24, 2010 Havent seen those before, thats really cool. I'll have to get one of those for my next tank, which I think is going to be a seahorse tank as well. But with being unemployed its just in the planning stages in my head.
Jan September 24, 2010 Author September 24, 2010 You find it to be accurate? I'm a little confused. I have a floating thermometer and a little digital one on the tank. They both read 73 degrees F when I placed the new heater in the tank. I set the temp on the FLUVAL heater to 73 degrees F. The heater read the tank temp as 79 degrees and started flashing red. I shut off all the lights and waited for temp to drop. It dropped to 70 degrees according to my thermomteres. The FLUVAL reads 75 in green. I'm a tad concerned about this.
