I was wondering if anyone heard of "Eco Aqualizer" and what is the forums thoughts on this

Scam. If you want the same effect, tape a few magnets to one of your hoses.

I remember back in the '70s there were gadgets like this that claimed to increase fuel economy and make your car run better. They basically did nothing but give a PERCEIVED benefit. Then there are the folks that wear magnet jewelery, I'm not sure if that does anything, either. I used to watch Sha-Na-Na when I was as kid and as Bowzer used to say, "A fool and his money are soon parted. So next time you see a fool, take his money."

Thats a great qoute.! And magnets are really used in medicine, and the good magnetic jewelry can help.!

one of the old timers (Tangster) on the 3reef forums that used to own a LFS wrote an article back in march where they got one of these and deconstructed it so you could see what it was and how it was made....

Great link Bill. As small as those magnets are I can't see them doing much. Someone would be better off just taping an old mag float onto their pipes.

Thanks for the link - this is what I thought it would be too. I just don't like to dismiss things without any consideration.

It was nice to see the product deconstructed and shown to be a scam.
