DCFishGuy99 June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 I started by tank in May 2009 and have mainly been posting on a lps forum. I started with a 45 gallon Oceanic Tech Tank and stand. I am using a 150w MH Coralife AquaPro (10K Ushio bulb). My filter is a coverted Mega Flow wet dry to a sump only with a Mag5 return and a AquaC Urchin Skimmer. I am also running a 8 watt UV on the sump. I have to 2 Koralia 2 powerheads for flow. I dose 2 part AquaC for Alk and Kal. My tank is primarily SPS and clams with some LPS and a few polyps/mushrooms. Here is a photo of my tank after the first month: 2nd Month: Filters: Current FTS Picture: Fish: Six Line: 2 Clowns: Blue Hippo Tang:

DCFishGuy99 April 23, 2011 Author Share April 23, 2011 It has been a while since I posted some new pictures. The items I picked up at the last WAMAS meeting are awesome! About 6 months ago I picked up a RBTA from CoralHind, a new clam and a watchman goby. I also picked up a new Apex Controller but I have not figured out how to get its status in my signature. If anyone has any tips on this, please let me know. Thanks. FTS: The ever growing Ricordea Garden: I had to move my Cal Tort as it was growing into my Bail Tri-Color. It is seems to like the new location:

The Blue cloves are taking over but it seems that as long as the SPS and LPS are growing, they are not being affected. That being said, there are a few spots on my Blue Voodoo and Purlpe Acro that have had a little die off and the clove polyps have moved in. If I were to do the tank again, I might think twice about the cloves now that I have gone more of the SPS route as they are difficult to control. DCFishGuy99 April 25, 2011 Author Share April 25, 2011 Everything looks happy in your tank. How do you like the D10? I realized that I never responded to this. I really like the D10. I have taken it on a few trips and it works great for snorkeling. Build quality has been great and the interface is easy to use when in the water. I actaully use it as my main camera even though it is not as small as my regular canon powershot. I am really impressed with the video it takes. I also get a kick out of all the shocked looks when I take it to the beach and "drop" it in the water.
