Help with SPS ID

[Incredible Corals]

Any idea what type of SPS this is? Under my lighting the polyps are bright orange. With the days go off and only actinics, it glows red like a hot piece of steel.

its a digitata but not sure which exactly.. what color is the base? Nice piece1

We get lucky every once in awhile.

 

Those white tips are a good sign that it is growing fast. It must be happy in your tank.

I think that is the one with a green base. I have seen it called miami hurricane digi but not sure if it has an official common name within reef community. I don't think that is your typical "orange digi" but am not certain. I have 4 huge colonies of it now that all started from a small 2" frag from leishman a year and a half ago. Great grower, pretty, and hardy coral.

If it has a greenish base its a forest fire digitata, if not an orange digitata, they look similar.. Looks good and healthy..!

If it has a blue base, it is sometimes called the Superman Montipora digitata.
