Rhizos

Please refresh my memory. Wasn't there a thread on rhizos? A group buy even? The prices were really good. Are these corals still available? I know that they are considered rare. I kind of recall discussion about them being illegal as well? Is this true? Was this confirmed?

They are awesome when open but need to be fed often and placed in specific areas of the tank for flow and lighting (or lack of lighting).

this is where we got them in the group buy. he has a few for sale. We paid between $180 and $250 each and bought more than 5.

 

The survival rate was not good. About 50%. Some were rough when they arrived from SD and died soon after, some died over the course of a few months.

 

On the other hand, he said if we bought more he would do a bigger discount.

 

I am not interested in corals you have to feed anymore. They are either a pain (you feed alot) or a disappointment (they die).

 

Just my opinion, I saw one from the group buy the other day and it looked amazing.

Well, it looks like prices have more than doubled so I wont be getting one anytime soon. If anyone sees any out there for $200 or less LMK, please. Thanks.
