Worm ID

As usual I was gonna watch the tank with a flashlight. I do this several times a week. I could not believe my eyes. I saw a 3.5 inch long worm. It was about 0.5 inches wide. Cream color with a redish/pinkish stripe down its back. Just so happens that when I turned the flashlight on it was pointed right at it. It crawled pretty fast. So no chance of getting pictures. A bit suprised that I have never seen this before, as I view the tank with lights out often. Anyone got any ideas as to what it might be?

some type of bristle worm. scavengers. usually not a problem till they start growing over a foot long. then you have some issues..

I've got one that's a whitish pink, and the part that was extended from the rock was about six inches. It was trying to haul a chunk of red slime back into its hole. The lights were on when I saw it, so after I finish today's no lights, I'll try and get some photos tomorrow.
