Assuming it lives... freshly cut 1/2" frags from a wild colony are touchy at best.

 

I lost my "strawberry shortcake" divaricata today, even after it encrusted 1/2" in my care. It started as a 1" fresh cut frag at macna.

thats about what DD would've charged...not bad considering how much i paid for my 5 inch stalk

I'd be willing to be money the only reason that whole thing is up for sale is because the frags don't make it, and the 7" frag isn't doing the best.

 

IMO the worst thing you can do to a wild colony is cut it up. I have had VERY little luck with wild frags.

 

 

That Nasuta looks nice. DD has had some nice echi's and granny's come in lately too. I have 0000000 sps after the heater breaking, so I might have to pull the trigger and get some from them after the new tank is up. (~4+ months)
