Brian Ward October 25, 2009 October 25, 2009 So I just cracked the frag tank I was working on. I had just finished doing all the plumbing (closed loop) and was filling with tap water to leak test. I didn't use any flex tubing and instead opted to hard plumb everything with PVC. I guess the little bit of extra stress from things not lining up perfectly was too much stress on the tank. So now it looks like I need to start over.

I think the quality of glass must vary a lot. bob
Brian Ward October 25, 2009 Author October 25, 2009 It's a 40L - 48x13x16. It would be an add-on to my 120 display system. It sucks, but hopefully I can salvage the plumbing and just replace and re-drill the tank.
Nate October 26, 2009 October 26, 2009 That blows! I have had the exact same thing happen to me with a few 10 gallon tanks. How thick was the glass?
blaze98 October 26, 2009 October 26, 2009 the same thing happened to me when setting up my frag tank, it sucks but all you can do is start over and do it better than the first time.
flowerseller October 26, 2009 October 26, 2009 got a few feet of flex pvc if it helps on the new plumb.
