No drilling tank, $5 worth of parts, 5 minutes of effort, no chance of failing with power outage...simply PVC over-the-top...worked perfectly until I took the tank down:

 

(That's the pump on the floor of my basement. BTW, the outflow from the pump went up 15 feet to the next floor, but that isn't necessary with the set up)

I did mine similar to the picture; I added some bits of a mouse pad under the feet and under the corners of the wood board to help with the vibration.
