Cheato Maintenance

What are your recommended methods and how oftened do you clean and thin out your Cheato in your refugiums.?

I divide it as often as it needs it - perhaps every month or six weeks depending upon how much it's grown. I'll divide it manually or sometimes with scissors. Afterwards, I stretch the remaining chaeto so that it's more open to allow it room to grow and fill in again.

I prune mine every so often. I just pulled three softball size full out today.

I start pulling it out when I cant see the bottom of the tank. I have been pulling half out and then stretching out the rest across the top of the tank. Once it reaches the bottom I repeat the process again. In between major prunning I pull out any discolored areas
