White play sand locally?

Does anyone know where to find bags of white play sand locally? Kmart in Annandale didn't have any and Home Depot only had coarse brown "play sand". The closer to Crystal City the better.

Wal-Mart in Leesburg had Kolor Scape, I have bag of 15 or more if you want $5 each and they're sitting in my shed.

Note that the white play sand you will find at these places is not the aragonite-based sand which is much better for our reefs (but some people do use it)

 

The cheap "good stuff" has been gone for years.

I think some one recently found sand in Manassas Southern States.

I use Desert PLay Sand from HD with no probs and my tank is about 9 months old.

This stuff seems better than the usual play sand because it apparently passes the vinegar test, but it doesn't seem to be the "good" (oolitic) stuff we used to be able to get cheap.

Thanks for the advice and suggestions. I've done my research on this topic and decided that I still want to try it.

 

I'm trying to call around, but getting someone helpful on the phone is difficult.
