One of my bulbs/ ballast are acting up......the ballast isn't making a grunting noise when you turn it on.....and the bulb has a bolt of light going threw it but never fully lights up!......anyone else had this issue......Light is rather new, bought in Feb. of this year.

Bulb type, SE or DE?

electronic or magnetic ballast?

probe or pulse start?

 

Have you tried to swap the bulbs around to see if it is a bulb or ballast issue? Process of elimination.

When I first bought my sunpod one ballast would fire a couple of minutes, sometimes up to 30, after the first ballast fired up. The problem corrected itself after a month or so on a timer. Now both ballast fire up at the same time.

gonna do the process of elimation when i get home...gonna take light down tonight, kinda pain to take it down....6' light..lol

haven't have problem with my fixture, current is usually pretty good about tech support and warranty support contact them

Sounds like your still breaking in the new bulbs. I doesn't hurt to call the Tech support team.

Figured out the issue, the buld is bad,. Lucky me its still under the 90 day warrenty time frame....

 

bought replacement bulbs from drforsterandsmith.com....having a huge sale on lighting!

 

but gonna get replacement from current also for back ups
