mling March 24, 2009 March 24, 2009 I have had a Pistol shrimp that has been with me for over 5 years. It is therefore fairly large, about 3 inches long. It used to have a Yellow watchman goby as it's symbiotic pair. It's now dead. I am thinking of getting a Yellow watchman but I am concern that the ones I see at LFS are rather small. Could my Pistol shrimp end up eating a Yellow Watchman is it is too small ?
CHUBAKAH March 24, 2009 March 24, 2009 Little off topic, but will it pair with a pink spot watchman? I have one about 5 inches that I wouldn't mind parting with. As to your question, I don't have a clue?
mling March 24, 2009 Author March 24, 2009 I think it will pair up but why are you willing to part with your Goby ? Must have been with you for a few years to be 5", right ?
Hilary March 24, 2009 March 24, 2009 I have Ben's big (over 2") tiger pistol, and he lives with a yashia and my flame prawn goby (about 1/2").

rsarvis March 24, 2009 March 24, 2009 I had a pistol shrimp a while back but it died. I was sad. :( As was his yellow watchman goby friend, no doubt. If you were interested, maybe you could sell your pistol to me and then buy a pistol & goby pair from the LFS?
