PVC Thread

Does anyone know what the thread count is on PVC pipe? I want to buy a tap set but I want it to work for PVC.

The thread count varies by size of pipe (1/2", 3/4"...) but they are all National Pipe Thread or "NPT". HTH

depending on the size of the pipe you may be able to rent a threader as they can get very large.

That's what I tought but know PVC and Cpvc have different threads and steel has another count. I wanted to get a tap for 3/4 that would work with PVC pipe.

Make sure you have the right bit to drill the hole with as well.  For 1/2" it is a real goofy size and not a typical one.
