When the downstairs gets remodeled, I will be doing some tank juggling as well. I was thinking about having a "floating" canopy above the 90, anchored to the ceiling. If the writeups are to be believed, the Lumenbrite minis should be used about 18" above the surface, and do a good job of directing the light into the tank, rather than into bystanders eyes.

Experience? Opinions?

In my experience, the Lumenbrights focus the light downward much more efficiently than the lumenarcs. I had the Lumenarc "spread" the light farther out over a larger surface area than the lumenbright. I couldn't get the spread I wanted with just one Large Lumenbright, so I'm going with two minis instead. Should be bright as all H-E-double hocky sticks when its finally done.

Just what I wanted to hear.

I started looking into Lumenbrights after talking to you, Scott.
