the hole where my rodi auto topoff is located has just fallen off and is leaking fast. what can i do to plug the hole?

Duct tape will stop a lot of leaks short-term. Or try some putty like aquamend in a small hole that can't be covered over with duct tape.

would something like aquamend be a more permanent solution? i drained the sump to stop the leak now but i would like to use the upper part of my sump what can i do to fix it long term?

it was big enough to stop the leak at the time. i need be able to plug the whole long term. the size is similar to a q tip stem. small but big enough to be annoying

If the sump is acrylic, a small piece of plexi and some Wend-on will do the trick.

If the sump is glass, use a small piece of glass and some silicon.

But... What fell off? Can't you just replace whatever it is that fell off?

sorry i was unclear. it is a 100 gal rubbermaid sump. there is a piece for ro top off. so you stick the ro tubing in and it has a ball valve on it. the glue wore off

i have never had to use it. where can i get some of that?

thanx to bob's unaccountable brilliance my sump is saved and dry
