Block a burn nuke a reef?

 

Go this one from digg.com, talks about how sunblock might need to stay out of the tank.

Some chemical ingredients can effect zooxanthellae. I guess long as you don't touch the water with the

sun tan lotion on things should be fine. on a side note does that tang look like it needs food or am I wrong?

I don't think most tropical beach-goers are going to care enough to risk burns.

I'm careful not to have any lotion - hand lotion or sun block - on my skin when I need to put my hands in my tank. As a result I always seem to have dry, sunburned hands! ;)

Skin cancer or a few dead corals:) I choose the second, but for what its worth I don't go in my tank unless my hands are lotion free for a day!

Probably not, but those "in the know" will care enough to use biodegradable sun screen. A quick google search yields these first three results:
