Clyde June 25, 2008 Share June 25, 2008 (edited) I was given a very nice blue mushroom. The problem is it is a single polyp and it is drifting around my tank. It seems very happy. The ? is, how do I get it to latch on to a piece of rock? It has no rock, that I can see attached to it. Edited June 25, 2008 by Clyde
treesprite June 25, 2008 Share June 25, 2008 Use a piece of bridal veil to hold it on a rock until it sticks onto the rock.
MOT June 25, 2008 Share June 25, 2008 (edited) put it in a low flow area on top of a rock, it will eventually grab it. Mushrooms generally appreciate being in low flow areas anyways. And by appreciate i mean they will open up fully and look better. Edited June 25, 2008 by MOT
jason the filter freak June 25, 2008 Share June 25, 2008 you can throw some live rock rubble into a container in a low flow area and sink it in the tank put the mushroom in the container and you can the place the mushroom any where you'd like via the rubble piece
