tygger April 30, 2008 April 30, 2008 I have some yellow porites that were originally placed pretty high in the tank as a frag. Now it's grown within a cm from the surface of the water. Short of moving the coral, what will happen when it gets to the surface?
dbartco April 30, 2008 April 30, 2008 on mine, the tips out of the water just died and weird growth forms on the ends.
toastiireefs April 30, 2008 April 30, 2008 in mikes tank his acropora bleached (i believe) on the tips and grew flat tops
flowerseller April 30, 2008 April 30, 2008 On mine the tips are alive because the current allows water to ripple over them. Once they get that high they do begin to plate out and some simply fuse together.
