smarsh97 April 22, 2008 April 22, 2008 I did many a grunion run on the CA beaches as well growing up. My father was military and it was a ritual. Sandy
mogurnda April 22, 2008 April 22, 2008 I don't know how many nights we spent sitting on the beach waiting for them. When they finally came, it was pretty spectacular. Wasn't too bad sitting by the fire when they didn't come.
Origami April 22, 2008 April 22, 2008 smarsh, where were you stationed growing up? My Dad was Navy and we were stationed in San Diego, Pt. Mugu, Lemoore, and Alameda (near SF) while in CA. There were many other stations growing up, but these were the ones in CA.
