CBS April 3, 2008 April 3, 2008 See attached pic. Appears I have greenish-yellowish plants?/animals? growing primarily in shaded areas of my reef tank. Any ideas on what this is, whether it is good/bad, and if necessary what I need to do about it would be much appreciated. thx, CBS
Larry Grenier April 3, 2008 April 3, 2008 (edited) greenish-yellowish plants?/animals? growing primarily in shaded areas of my reef tank. Without a pic I would venture to guess sponge. Some can be invasive and grow over/onto corals while others are fine little filters. I had some that was lime-green and didn't bother anything; kinda nice. Edited April 3, 2008 by Larry Grenier
jason the filter freak April 3, 2008 April 3, 2008 I don't see the picture again, I would also seem to think sponges, they're all over my my tank but they tend to leave my corals alone
