What is this macro in which my baby clown is hosting? It looks very pretty in the tank if you see it in person. One day it just showed up. A long time ago I got some caulerpa from Martin and there was a small piece of a red macro mixed in that disappeared months and months ago... looks like maybe an invisible bit of it started to take root before the piece of it vanished.

I'd guess Scinaia. Had some in a mantis tank until the little bugger buried it.

i cant see it but if its red. Possible called "Dragon Breath or tongue" , that what i have heard it called but thats just a nickname.

i used to have that growing randomly in my tank; it got to be pretty big, but one day it broke off from the rock and that was it. weird how stuff just grows outta nowhere. i thought it was really pretty, so I was sad it died. i imagine though it would've been eaten up pretty quickly once i got my tangs...

It breaks off very easily. At first there were serveral tiny sproutings over a couple different rocks and this one that has growon is the only one I see after having moved things around. I guess if it gets to growing too much I'll take some home and put it in my fuge to grow out for my tang.
