shawns March 11, 2008 Share March 11, 2008 i thought that since my wife was sharing her nano, it was time for me to step up and show off my tank a little too. for those of you who dont know, i recently upgraded from a 46bf to the 90g. i entitled it whatever because thats how i feel about what im going to have in it. there will always be the reasonable amount of discretion, but if i happen to find something that i like, and it's compatible w/ what i already have, it's goin in! lighting: dual pfo 175 mh, 14k hamilton. 2 420nm t-5s w/ individual reflectors. filteration: 29g sump w/ diy trickle filter and gsa shorty skimmer. mag 7 return. various lr from 46g and sand from danskim. movement: return pump and tunze 6060. here are some pics i just took earlier this evening. full tank shot! right side sump acan being fed. same acan under pc lighting in my 46. notice how the blues in that pic and white in this 1. from steffiepoo's nano. spot fed a candy cane. thought howard would like to see it--he started that other thread. hope you all enjoyed it! any comments/questions are welcome! shawns March 30, 2008 Author Share March 30, 2008 im considering adding 2 more t-5s in my hood. that would make 4 t5's and dual 175 mh's. i havent had a par meter to see what it is. all of that light might be over kill. then again, some of us have 400w mh w/ no problem. i was just worried about over saturating the tank w/ light. the grand total would be: 2 175w 14k hamilton 1 6.5k 2 aquablue and either 1 pure act or 1 act+ im looking for any and all advise.
