Anyone know how to work on chillers?

Trying to see if i can get someone to look at the one i have thats been sitting. Told it just needed to be charged but it could be more. let me know

I should say in advance that this may not be too much help

 

There is a place in alexandria that is willing to work on them. A bit expensive (compared to the cost of a new unit) no matter what you do, but here is my suggestion:

 

Call first, then bring it to them.

Ask them to just recharge it. Looking for a leak will either be a waste of time (if they don't find one) or a waste of time (if they find one and tell you how much they want to fix it.)

You didn't include the number I have the same problem. Try and back flush the system your supposed to do it every 6 months and I didn't and thats all it took, but it still might eventaully need a recharge I would be extremly intrested in the number.
