I feed cyclopeeze at least every other day. Wouldn't say I feed the zoas, but I am sure they get what they can.

From my experience, zoanthids do not readily accept food. Typically, they are photosynthetic. Palythoas, on the otherhand, do accept meaty foods. I have always been successful by target feeding with Cyclopeze and Mysid.

WOW, i didn't know there was a difference. I even did a search on palythoas and they look like zoas as well? How can you tell the difference? Shape, size?

Go to Fins and Feathers or BRK and ask the owner the same question. If you see it once, you'll know the difference right away the next time. Right now Fins and Feathers does not have any paly for sale, so try BRK. Easiest way is the polyp of the zoanthid is smaller than the Paly's. That's the regular case.

I have been targetting with a little microvert once in a while, but don't know if it helps any.
