Where's the cheapest place to get one? Online and pay shipping? (If so, got a recommended cheapest spot?) or lfs...? BRK's website is down for revisions for dry goods... anyone know if they stock 'em? (That's quite a hike for us -- 1 hour -- but better than tons of money in shipping; we get to drool over corals that way.

Ideas?

Got mine at That Fish Place in PA. It's a 2 hour drive for me, but I like that place a lot. And, they usually have the best prices around on pretty much everything.

brk does indeed stock sequence pumps

Call Johnny at BRK to see if he has one. I bought his last one a couple weeks ago, but I imagine he's replenished. His price is as good as any internet price you'll find and worth the drive.

If you make a good purchase to marine depot the shipping costs are free! you might want to check out a GB if one comes up.... I also second that BRK has awesome prices without shipping charges, you have to be careful of spending too much in there though

If you want it quickly...recommend BRK (don't know if they are stocked right now, but it is normally in stock). Prices normally are internetish. Also, you have a local contact if there is a problem. Plus, you can see the rest of the store.

Thanks. Unfortunately, he's out of stock. (I emailed him.)

Internet prices I found ($229 vs. $264) beat his by $35 and free shipping/no tax. I'd love to support an LFS, but for us it's both time (1 hr. drive) and money (have to figure gas). So... guess I'll order from the 'net this time and avoid the temptation of too many goodies at BRK.

THX for all the replies, tho. :wig:

they're on reefcentral.com pretty often in the drygoods section. I saw one the other night in good condition for 175
