discretekarma September 21, 2007 September 21, 2007 I bought some live rock a while back and it had some coral on it already. I didn't notice it right away and when I did, I assumed it was some type of zoos. The other day I was looking at my tank and saw a sweeper arm come out of this and start sweeping around. I didn't think this happened with Zoos. I'd appreciate it if anyone could ID this for me so I can properly care for it. Also, if anyone out there really likes it...I have several pieces so I am able to frag it. Thanks.

However - those don't really look like zoanthids. A little too 'frilly' - some kind of colony polyp, though. In fact it looks kind of like something I have growing in the middle of one colony of zoa's - damaging them. bob
discretekarma September 21, 2007 Author September 21, 2007 I've looked for a long time on websites for something that looked close and I can't find anything. Does this mean they aren't as common or that nobody would buy them so nobody sells them? If anyone else has a more specific ID for them I'd really appreciate it.
