I'm starting a 120g In-Wall tank by the end of this year (In the process of finishing my basement).

I'm looking to find places to buy a 120g tank. Can someone recommend some places with

reasonable prices?

I have contacted glasscages.com and they quoted me a tank with 3 sides of Sapphire for about $550.

I could probably do with only the front side to cut cost down but is that a reasonable price?

How is Aquarium Depot and Wally's? I read that they have good prices on tanks?

here is a site with dimensions of tanks and prices (near bottom is Oceanic and AGA).Thatfishplace

If BRK or Fins can't order at competitive price, you can also check super pets in annandale for NOVA area, or go to one of those Baltimore shops that has good prices - can't remember name - maybe exotic aquatics.

At least thatpetplace gives you baseline on price. If your buying new, it's best to get reef ready instead of show with hang on overflow box.

I have heard and read ads that AGA and Oceanic are now shipping tanks with starphire (low iron glass) fronts. ASK when you call for prices

no offense to weapon-x but his price is about same as NEW AGA show tank from thatpetplace.

Yes, You could get a tank from thatpetplace, but I wouldn't want to drive to PA just to pick up a aquarium. And the price they listed is just for the tank itself.

Not that it matters, but I believe that AGA now owns Oceanic. They are using the Oceanic name for their high end tanks. I think that they are standardizing on using low iron glass for the Oceanic brand. If it is not the case already, you may soon have to request standard float glass if you don't want low iron glass for an Oceanic tank.

Yes, you're right, Oceanic was bought out by AGA. That's why you see the AGA megaflow overflows on stock Oceanic reef ready tanks nowadays.

I was just at Roozens for my first time yesterday and was amazed to see an entire greenhouse full of brand new different tanks for sale. There must have been hundreds and they had good prices too. There customer service wasn't great but their tanks, fish and prices were very good.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out on the weekend. It's been forever since I been there when I had

the 72g at my old place.

Do you remember if they had shappire front ones?

I'm not sure what a Saphire tank is and I didn't look really close at the tanks since I'm not in the market for one so I'm not sure. I wouldn't bother calling because there customer service sucks and if they answer they probably won't tell you but if you can go in there, you'll be happy at what you see.
