The last GB from BZA in DEC, I got a Female Green Mandaran and have not seen her after the first week, fearing the worst! TWO MONTHS LATER late last night, I'm re-arranging my LR for the Umpteenth time and after everything has settled and I finally ready to turn out the lights, but whose FAT Buttie appears but her!!! HowardofNOVA April 2, 2008 Author Share April 2, 2008 Avalanche!!! All I wanted to do was was remove one simple Devils Hand from the LR for Justin (Auction)! What happened next SUCKS and kept me up to 3am this morning and STILL home messing with it!! It was like a slow motion Horror Movie as bascially my entire rock structure collapsed AND rolled as it did it, breaking over a dozen corals and frankly by 3am, doesn't even look like the same tank!! Pictures above from last week and below while the tank is less than 1/2 day in recovery!!! Side view: Lower Center: Top left Alien Eye: Lower Left: Can anyone tell me what Blue Zoo's these are? Some say Tubbs and some say not? Been along time that I had them and can remember where I got them from? The RBTA was position in the back left side of the tank (IF she stays there) so as not to see the bald spot when she is not open, but would put her on top of the back of the tank when out?? HowardofNOVA April 16, 2008 Author Share April 16, 2008 SAD NEWS - DOLLY 2 has gone to the big water in the sky! ...in pieces!!! The big RBTA Saturday night was doing great during the evening feeding in my frag tank and before going to bed around 1pm, did a check on the tanks for some reason and saw in horror that it went Walk-About and got its tentacles stuck in the MJ1200 intake. Was stuck so bad, I had to cut the intake cover in half to get it out! Next day, looked great and thought that was the end of it! Was going to split it later this week for auction soon. THIS Morning got up and went to feed the tank and she had crawled across the tank and got stuck AGAIN in another MJ, but this time I had little RBTA pieces blown all over the tank!!!! I took scissors and cut her away from the intake! All that is left of her is the base, still stuck on the wall holding on for dear life! Time will tell if it comes back but for those waiting for her. It's been a great run in the hobby, but other needs will keep me busy over the next few months, so will be hard pressed to find time to setup a new tank, but WILL KEEP TRYING!!! Thanks to all for helping me move everything out quickly and thanks to all for their help and support! I will be around but not as much, so with this being POST 5600, I'm sure Jason or Chip will be passing me up as the biggest big mouth of the group soon! ....but I will be back!!! PS: #1 The Officers need your help, Please volunteer your support! #2 Chip could use help this weekend and BEFORE, volunteer! #3 Have a blast!
