Where do you have the coral in your tank? BTW, training it is not that difficult. Mine was trained to open up at 7pm at one point in time and it took very little effort.

well if you have enough food keep trying to feed it. do you have the pumps off? that helps. also you can feed phytoplankton as well. or daphnia on the off chance that you have it

i have mine under some rocks in a shaded area. youre right its not that hard to train them.

It's in the middle of my frag tank, under a PC light. For another week. When I aquascape the 58-gallon tank, I will build a 'grotto' for those, and my carnation coral. I do have one spot in the 45 that I could probably fit it for now. Maybe I'll move it to a shady spot. Not like 96 watts of PC is going to hurt it - but maybe it's a little shy.

I intend to hit it with DT or pearls, or cyclopeez each evening around 9 or so. Hopefully it will start opening up more fully.

the pc's should be fine. mine will come out no matter what time it is if phyto or cyclopeeze is in the water. but pc's arent usually bright enough to bother it. only white lights. if you have 7100k or actinic 03 lights it will prolly still come out
