urchin for my tank

im looking for an urchin for my tank but i hear they tend to know things down is there a smaller group of urchins or something i have overlooked

I have a tuxedo urchin in my tank. Other than the occasional fragging of my zoas, he's a model citizen.

Yep, mine does, but it also eats algae.

well i wouldnt mine so much about the coraline as it will grow back to some degree but i dont mind. i may try that. anyone else have an opinion on this

Well I have 3 of them and will be keeping them in my refugium. Currently I have 2 in my main display tank and I think they are pretty cool. I have had no problems with them but I do hear the same that they eat coraline. it dosn't bother me though

I'm a huge urchin advocate. I love them! We have blue tuxedos (which I also would recommend), long spine (which knock over a lot), rainbow (which aren't that great with algae b/c they mostly eat meatie foods), armor urchin(I would recommend this one as they don't move your rock or corals and they eat lots), and pencil urchins (not recommended with corals).
