Guest Faustous March 8, 2007 Share March 8, 2007 (edited) I couldn't find a "What the H-E-double hockey sticks is THAT?" forum... so here ya go.... Edited: Had to spell "Hocky" properly. What is it?? Doesn't like like Aiptasia... it's decent size though.... Edited March 9, 2007 by Faustous
TROLL March 8, 2007 Share March 8, 2007 May be Aiptasia or some kind of condo anemone.
Rascal March 8, 2007 Share March 8, 2007 Aiptaisa or Majano. Either way, a pest. You could inject it with kalk or joe's juice before it has a chance to mulitply and spread. Guest Faustous March 8, 2007 Share March 8, 2007 Might be the bad pic... but definately don't think it's a duster.. Majano.... ok.. Thanks Vat, got some Joe's... going to dose it now
lanman March 9, 2007 Share March 9, 2007 Might be the bad pic... but definately don't think it's a duster.. Majano.... ok.. Thanks Vat, got some Joe's... going to dose it now Tell me about Joe's juice... I have a much younger (two, actually) aiptasia on an almost identical frag. I'd like to make them go away without tearing the frag off, because it's JUST started to put a couple polyps on the rock under it. They certainly aren't large enough to 'inject' (not to mention they hide when you get close). Do you just squirt this juice nearby? Where do I get some? Thanks, bob
Guest Faustous March 9, 2007 Share March 9, 2007 You want to squirt it into their mouths. Hard to do cause the close, but it you start squirting as you get closer, enough will get it... doesn't take much either. BTW: Thanks for the edit on the bad word down under... but as much as a hockey fan that I am... PLEASE spell hockey right ;-)
Caribbean Jake March 9, 2007 Share March 9, 2007 if you run out of Joe Juice, you can also use vinegar with a seringe
