Aquarium stand water damage

Recently noticed my SCA 50 gallon cube set up had some water damage on one of the side panels on the stand it looks pretty bad inside and the damage continues a little on the outside maybe I’m just paranoid but would love to get an outside perspective on what I should do or if it’s bad enough to drain the tank. Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated

You are not paranoid, as I would lean towards replacing the stand.  If you are unable to do so now, you could always reinforce the stand with a piece of plywood mounted to the inside of that panel.

Yeah, that looks like it's just particle board, and once moisture gets in there's no telling how long it has, I personally wouldn't risk keeping it up not knowing unless I was comfortable cleaning up 50 gallons of saltwater off my floors.
