Anyone have a recommendation on where to buy a BTA? I’m in DC so assuming I’ll have to find an online vendor. I’ve succumbed to the yearning to have a host anemone for ORA false percula.

I just wanted to check--I just heard from someone that maxi anemones are NON- photosynthetic!!!! That idea blows my mind, Ive always "known" they were photosynthetic, and never heard anything about them being non! Can this really be true? Ive always fed mine plenty, so I wouldn't have had the opportunity to find out, first-hand.

We decided the very large RBTA in the display tanks needed to move, since it had killed all the corals over a large piece of real estate and seemed destined to continue annexing new territory. So we put in in my cube, and after several hours it started wandering, which was expected. What was not expected was that it would find a way to get caught in the intake of the HOB refugium pump. I was monitoring its travels, and in the ~15 minutes between observations it went from fine to shriveled, and the tank looks as though someone poured a pint of milk into it. I performed about a 30% water change and added a large flow-through carbon module to the 'fuge. That's been about an hour and a half, and there doesn't seem to be much progress clearing the tank. Any thoughts?

I Currently I am doing research into more rare anemones, such as Lemon Drop BTA's for propagation. I have seen multiple places claiming LDBTA's. For prices ranging from $275-700. I have a few questions regarding these 'nems. 1. Does anyone here have one, or experience with splitting/caring for them. 2. If I got one or more, and split them to sell here. What would you guys feel to be a FAIR price?(This will of course be dictated by what I pay up front to buy them.) 3. Would you be interested in purchasing one down the road. 4. Is there any other type of anemone that you think I should check into for propagation, I already have several RBTA's. With plans to get more! I am looking forward to seeing the feedback from WAMAS on this, as well as get a feel for interest in these anemones. Any feedback will be helpful! Bellow are some photo's of LDBTA's On the left is an orange rainbow, right is lemon drop.
