I honestly believe that it is NOT the original cap. If it was, John, Mike, etc. would have contacted Tyree (who has been searching for SIX YEARS to find this coral) and it would be FS on ReefFarmers and have a 10 year waiting list. This is just my opinion after reading the history of this coral and seeing all the frags floating around WAMAS/CMAS that look nothing like the original colony. Don't get me wrong, the one floating around the DC Metro area can develop into a beautiful coral, but it's not the Leng Sy cap. -Rik PS I had 8-9" colony of this cap from John. About 3 years ago but I decided to sell all my caps and I sold it.

That picture is from George in CMAS, he lost his entire SPS collection late last year. I will contact him and see what he has to say about the ancestry of this frag.

It sounds so stupid, but if you can trace it back to the original, and back it up, I'm sure Tyree will buy all you can supply (then sell it for x20 the price). Sad thing is, if you do trace it back (and can prove it) you or I could not get more than $40 a frag!! Tyree owns the LE market

The Leng Sy cap is dead! This is the original photo that created all the buzz. I have seen it in several lectures and it was noted that it does not look like the picture and that there are tons of similar corals out there but none can be traced to Leng Sy. If you do have it (and can prove it) you are sitting on a gold mine! Here is the story -Rik

Ocellaris and Perculas are very different clownfish These are juvi' Perculas (that's why the black has not come in yet). They have just been captive bread from a couple of rare fish with rare markings by ORA. Below is a picture of one of the original brood stock from ORA. Mine will eventually develope the black fill-in to resemble the fish below.............. I hope
