    BTW that pressurized holding tank is pretty good. Holds about 2.5G of water and autoshuts off.

    Yes I have a TDS meter. I've got the DI resin chamber half-filled, and been getting a near consistant 3 ms so far. You get a choice of adapters when you buy the ebay unit I think.

    Ive been using that ebay unit for about 5 months now - pretty happy with it. Been checking the water and so far havent seen any significant loss in water quality. I've probably used about 350G though it so far.

    If you can, unscrew the bulkhead and ensure that the gasket is free of any buildup. Also clean the glass where the gasket sits. Don't over tighten - I've found that sometimes overtightening it will cause leakage. Tiny leaks fix themselves once some salt from evaporation plugs the leak.
