My parents are probably not going to accept the idea of a sump...But does anybody know a hang on skimmer that would work better then a seaclone that i can use for a 72g?

But isnt there a risk of the tank having cracks, and leaks?

I could buy all the equipment..But I would need help on how to plumb..If i get an OK from my parents on buying an overflow, return pumps, etc..Then can someone help me plumb the tank?.Im only 14 so I have no clue on doing this stuff... Thanks

Hi, Im trying to get an overflow so I can get a insump skimmer for my 72g..I cannot get the tank drilled so that is not a option...Would there be any problems with the overflow in the future? How many gph overflow should i get..also which overflow would you reccomend that prevents snails comming in it and getting stuck? When/IF I order it, Can anybody help me plumb the tank? BTW: Which pump would you reccomend? Thanks -Mohsin

Hey, I bought a 29g for home/science fair use..I got 40lbs of playsand and 40lbs of liverock...My 150w Metal halides came in today...So I will post pics soon...Also I will post pics of any updates...

Hi, at the left side my sand is clean...and my left side of the tank its starting to get small peices of green algae on the sand...Do you know anyway of stopping this...My levels are fine except my phosphate...its a little bit high but im taking care of that already...Would canister filters help? Im thinking of getting this one : http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product....2+22777 Is there any other thing i can do to make my tanks water clean and clear? btw....can i just buy a refugium full of chateo (hang on type) with a small lighting clipped on it..would that help also? Seems a good idea...i might purchase a jbj nano 12g tank..so i can grow macro algae..and have another tank setup as another macro species in that thank.. Thanks John

ok...im going to start this friday..so ok, ill do the different types of lighting on zoos, and someother frag in each tank...i may just buy the tanks and light..but may just need some frags of zoos and other easy to handle frag...and a filter..Thanks for your help
