I moved the green acan from the top to the bottom because of the appearance of receiving too much direct flow. I have a brown and Green. The tentacles of the green is always protruding. Is it normal.
Thanks.
Tank is about a year and a half. I don't dose or feed thinking that weekly water change will do the job. This was the initial guidance I got when I started.
I'm a newbie in the hobby running a 90g tank with live rocks, a yellow tang, 2 clowns, and a blenny. I also, have the following corals: Waving hand, zoanthid and mushroom. Im using a 48" T5 HO 10K and was just given for black Friday a 48-60" Orbit LED light. The question is whether it makes sense to switch lighting to have more coral option? Gracias.
All, excellent suggestions. I will work on it this weekend while I'm home so I can catch potential disasters. My tank is in the family room with hardwood floor.

The water level of my top-off is higher than the sump. I was told that it was a gravity issue, but had seen many pictures with a similar setup like mine that seemed to work. I'll see how I can change things around. By the way, I see that we have a New England fan in the forum. Must be happy with Seattle's blunder.
Thank you all,
Can anyone help me understand why I can't fill my tank with fresh water? I have to keep it to the level marked by the blue line. When ever I do, the water keeps running into the sump. I'm running the Hydor Smart Level Control ATO with the Kollercraft Aqua lifter pump. Should I run the water directly into the tank? Your help is appreciated.
Hello everyone, I recently joined the forum and am new to the hobby. I am hoping someone can help me determine when it's the right time to change the lamps (tubes). Are there guidelines? I have been told that they last about a year and if you keep it longer, it can effect corals. Gracias.
