What does the tissue look like on the skeleton? If splitting into three defined potions then it's a branching specimen. If the tissue is one and equal all the way around then it's most likely a wall. Best of luck with the coral!

Issac's method is one route. Can you use forceps or tongs to get an ice cube down by the foot? If so, put a ice cube in a zip lock bag and get it close to the nem's foot. This should irritate the nem so it moves. Make sure you use a bag or something else to prevent harm to the foot.

Keep up the good work! Being consistent with parameters is more important than chasing numbers. Have you thought about potential livestock yet?
