Any updates? I haven't heard anything.

I filled out the survey and would be willing to drive up a day early if I can help before and after the activities. I'm usually running the show and would like to enjoy some of it this year. You know I put on my own show every year and can help a ton. I also have helped put on Dell World for the last 5 years and several conferences before that. I'm willing to help out before and after each day. I paid and want to enjoy one of these event as I'm always working it, but would be willing to help early morning or late at night. As you know I have done MAMAX for 3 years now and I have done design and tech conferences. I've done all the recruiting for vendors and sponsors, worked with speakers, delt with equipment rental, power structure, do our own website programing, shirt design ... I do 100% of it. I filled out the survey, let me know.

For those of you who could not make it out to the show but want to support our charities these are $20 shipped. I will also do $15ea at Mike and Terry's annual food drive in Richmond Saturday. Sizes from 3XL-Small in most styles. You have to preorder though because I'm not trying to haul a bunch of gear up there Saturday

I'd like to personally thank everyone that came out yesterday to MAMAX and supported our show/charity. All the vendors are coming back next year and I haven't stopped hearing about what a great time it was and how good the tacos were. I would like to congratulate all the raffle winners but especially the winner of the skimmer I donated, the winner of the LED that Marineland donated and the winner of the iPad Virginia Aquatics donated. All were amazing takeaways! I got home Saturday night around 6pm, finished uploading around 7pm and I went through the mail to find a letter from the IRS. We were approved for our 501c filing status and we're now a 100% official non-profit. Good things are going to start happening next year!

VIP tickets go on sale this Friday for $35. These include a 9am entry, t-shirt, stickers, a magnet and 5 raffle tickets. We sold out these tickets last year however we didn't have the swag included. This year we're expecting double the foot traffic. Only 100 will be available. Stay tuned, I'll post links Friday.

Previously named "The Fall Frag Fest", MAMAX has rebranded and grown since our first show. A huge thank you to all who came out to support our first event. Attendance wasn't what we wanted it to be but it was a decent turn out. The presentations were unreal, the stock and vendors were awesome and the prizes were great. Congrats to all our winners and we'll hope to do this again next year. And please buy a T-shirt lol.

Remember that if you got tickets in advance you can download a digital copy to you iphone or android passport -or- print the emailed pdf.
