  1. She knows who's boss. Salt critters. ERC will be next week after the live sale
  2. Nothing will die, just some zoa's, acan's, and a yellow hammer. My wife is going to the hub now to pick them up. Just tired of these lame excuses comapnies come up with.
  3. My thoughts was he was gonna dose it in that 20 gallon he has hooked to the system, and let it run into the 150. Saltwater tanks cause headaches. I was just battling with UPS for hours over my coral shipment today. They decided not to deliver because my name isn't on the condo directory? They delivered me corals last week, and multiple other times They delivered me a salt bucket from marinedepot the other day They just knocked on our door and gave my wife her new work laptop My wife works from home and they never tried knocking this morning . Shipping companies fire me up /rant
  4. It is a Saturday... 10am start time, might have to do this one on the iPhone. Inverts?!?!? I need some sexy shrimp, can't find them locally out here.
  5. I haven't had any mold problems, I make sure to take the plastic wrap off the tank for at least an hour a day to get fresh air in there. I have also cut back on the misting, now I only mist once every 4 days or so. I didn't put anything under the substrate. I probably should have done a little more research before starting the planted tank, but everything seems to be okay right now. We will see how it goes once I add water.
  6. WIll have to look that up, thanks.
  7. frag junky has one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Live-Coral-Frag-WYSIWYG-FragJunky-Holy-Grail-Rainbow-Rose-Bubble-Tip-Anemone-Lg-/171267182858?pt=Coral_and_Live_Rock&hash=item27e051d10a
  8. Isaac will try ZEO. Just watch. Yea, Sonoma is the next day trip. We have done pretty much every reasonable day/1night trip. Napa, Tahoe, Half Moon Bay (thinking about buying a house there), Monterey, Carmel, Muir Woods, etc. Next long weeekend will be a drive down 1 to LA. Also have to get to Yosemite (about 3.5 hours) away.
  9. Lol, you have to add fertilizers for the plants. My current reef tank is all natural, no additives and barely any chemical filtration (just a small bag of chemipure elite). Even my previous ADA 17 gallon wans't a great execution of ZEO, and the 48 gallon never got a chance to really get started. We have gone to Napa a few times. I honestly like the atmosphere/scenery of Charlottesville so much better. I am not much of a "foodie" though, but my wife is.
  10. There are a lot of different additives, but I haven't researched much into them yet. I hear ADA has a good lineup of dosing bottles.
  11. Have you looked at true successful Zeo tanks? Not saying anything is wrong with your tank at all, just a different look. Plus, it' is almost Easter. Why not get your tank in the holiday spirit with some pastel SPS?
  12. Yea. Instragram set up a sideways/upside down room.
  13. Flooding this puppy at the end of April Weeee Saltcritters had a 75% sale last night. Got a few zoa and acan frags and a yellow hammer.
  14. Waiting for you to go to ZEOvit. Then your addiction to blue bottles will start.
  15. I didn't, I mixed all the stains together. Just dipping the brush into different cans and putting it on the boards. Thanks, Dave at NanoBox does a great job on his lights.
  16. Just do some frequent water changes
  17. If you don't want to drill but want a sump, LifeReef has a long history as being the safest HOB overflow http://www.lifereef.com/siphon.html
  18. Forgot to take pictures of mine last night, but here is someone elses Basically just a screen and a knob. You can program everything on it, sunrise, sunset, color channels, storms, clouds, ramp times, etc... I believe monkiboy got water in his and now has a different light.
  19. Lol, for some reason both our dogs while puppies went after the same pair of my wife's sperry's. Thanks, VooDoo.
  20. Thanks! Definitely one of the best shows out. I may have watched the entire second season in one day... Haha thanks. If you look closely at the tank picture, right rock, you can see 3 tiny clams.
  21. New zoas from salt critters Duncan, bought it with 1 head in January and has about 5 now Tank Frank Underwood approved NanoBox Mini Flare Freshwater setup view Labradoodle snacking on a Sperry
  22. I will snap some tonight. Might have to bust out the 70-200 zoom, these things are tiny!
  23. I think in total there were 4-5 stains, but 2 were used for 90%+ of the wall.
  24. Looks great. Impressive stand build.
  25. For a FOWLR...I would just paint the back black and do an AquaClear 110 or 2. "Location:DC by the Nationals Stadium" - I miss the area. I used to live in the Axiom
