  1. Finally got the leds from China this morning. Hooked them up and i got to say they look pretty sweet. current LEDs set up 4 moonlight 36 Cree XP-E Royal Blue 16 Cree XM-L T6 White around 8000k 2 50w Chinese Multichip Total power 260W here is the picture of the Multichip LED here is the picture of the tank with all Royal Blue here is the picture of the tank with Royal Blue and 2 50W multichip 20K here is the picture of the tank with all lights running maximum

  3. Same thing happen to me when i set up my tank, but my scratches are hairlines compare to your. Good excuse to upgrade to another tank
  4. Maybe you haven't seen high power LED. 1 single chip LED 200w, that"s equal to 400w mh bulb and it comes in any color you want 6k, 10k, 14k, 20k even hybrid (half white and half blue). Also put it on a controller and you can program it to sunrise and sunset effect.

  9. I don"t dose anything just regular water change and feed my fish different foods soaked with selcon.
  10. I would be extra careful on dipping fresh frags from a mother colony that came straight from the ocean. Those are really sensitives, and I have lost 2 beautiful palys.
  11. I got some RB LEDs currently in the systerm. I was hopping to replace 2 150 MH with this built. According to the thread it only cost about $110 per 50W LED so I'm excite to see the outcome.

  13. I used to have the same problem, high calcium and low alk. I solved my problem by dosing baking soda until my alk is 10-11. Randy Holmes had a great article. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2002/11/chemistry

  15. I'm trying to make 2 part dosing but having trouble finding Dow flake and Mag flake locally.   17. You might want to give UV a try. I got UV installed and water is cleared as crystal.
  18. I've got the flame angel for 1 month and he is awesome. I got RBTA, Torch, Shrooms, Xenia, Various Acros and Monti, he nipped at the acro polyps several time but never likes it and stop ever since. Now he swim around picking on LR and eating HA. He is really active and has great personality. I will try Emperor Angel next week, and hope i got the same luck (finger crossed).
  19. I would built your own with cre xm-l. They are not that hard and cost less.
