Looks like a Eunicid worm. I had one a long time ago. Was impossible to catch. I took out the live rock and left to dry for a few weeks. He actually used to take my frag plugs and move them in front of his rock hole at night. Very bizarre.

I'm curious, can you cover one up totally with putty and glue? Will that make them spread if you only have one?
-
Can you list any vendors that will be attending? Thanks for posting this up!

8 bulb over my 60 cube is kinda overkill though, so I am really blasting my corals with light for those 7 hours
-
I only run my 8 bulb ati for 7 hours a day. I've done 9 in the past and it makes no difference at all so why not save some electricity.

Happened to me too. Will never put them in my tank again!

Yes, very cool little creature. Loves raw shrimp and takes pieces down in 2 minutes.

That’s a pic of my mini carpet anemone. They only grow to about 2 inches. I’ve been looking for these for a few years....very rare indeed. The UPS center was Gaithersburg.

Great experience from them!
I ordered an anemone last week from them. They have a shipping special for the DC area where you normally pay 19.99 and they will ship overnight so you can pick it up from the UPS center. Mine actually costs 9.99 because of a holiday special.
So I go to the UPS center on Thursday morning. The tracking clearly showed that the package was there the night before at 11pm. I show my tracking number and UPS can't find my package. I wait 45 minutes as they still look. They can't locate it. They give me some junk excuse of holiday time and it is probably in a shipping container somewhere. I leave and call Pacific East and leave a message before they open at 11am.
I get a call right back from them. The person's name was Rachel. She was awesome. She told me she was going to contact her UPS rep and get back to me. She called me back within a few hours and told me not to go to the UPS center until they let us know it was found. They didn't find it until the next day. She told me that if it was dead they would replace it free of charge and on top of that would do free shipping right to my house instead of to the UPS center.
I picked up the anemone that Friday evening after work. Now it has been 48 hours since it was packed. The water temp was 60 degrees, but the anemone was alive. I let Rachel know and asked if I could wait a few days to see how it looked because I was sure it was stressed out big time. She gladly agreed.
Now it has been 5 days since I've had the anemone and I've fed it several times. It looks great and should be fine.
UPS was awful, but Pacific East was wonderful. I will gladly order from them again!

I had a full blown sps tank and my clown goby never did a bit of damage to any of my colonies.

best nano fish I've every owned was the yellow clown goby

looks great!

Although now it says 999 but a few hours ago it said 799....

As soon as you click on the link it gives you the deal
-
That is an incredible deal. Thinking about buying and stashing..........thanks for sharing!

I used to think expired test kits were just a ploy to get you to buy more of the product, but when I tested my mag with the same exact test kit (one expired, one not) it showed a remarkable difference!

Thanks guys. I’ll try the marine depot overflow.
-
The eshopps or marine depot boxes are great! With the 10 gallon sump, make sure your tallest baffle is 7 inches or less for the gallon or so of back siphon that occurs during a power outage. I built a 10 gallon diy for a 55 gallon display and I get no overflows.

Thank you, I was wondering about those in particular. I may go for the marine depot version. Also, I was going to try and make my own sump. They sell kits that fit right into 10 gallon tanks on Ebay.

Great, thanks. I am going to stop by.

Besides the 4 vendors above anyone else?
-
Wondering if anyone has any experience with nano overflows. I have a 17 gallon ADA that is non-drillable. I want to use an overflow and a small 10 gallon sump. Anyone have any advice for brands they have used in the past. Just worried a bit about possible flooding........

Fintastics has the best prices. I got a gold nugget clown from ORA special ordered for 70 bucks. They are 90 on live aquaria.

Bobbit Worm--About to burn down my apartment building

That is exactly what mine did. At night he would take frag plugs (with corals attached) and would use them to plug up his live rock hole. That’s how I knew it was a eunicid not a bristlewom. Guess where mine came from? Roozens
