  2. 4 months. Purchased new. It was my return pump so ran 24/7 except for feedings, maintenance, etc.
  3. Sure. The pump has two main components. One is the drive console, Model 7520-60, which can run whatever is attached to it at 6-300 rpm. This pump has two heads attached "in parallel" . The heads are Easy Load 77200-52 and can take a variety of tubing sizes. Then you just use the flow chart to choose a tubing size and rpm. Run both heads and you can change water at the same rate. Of course, you want to calibrate it - I just used a kitchen scale and a stopwatch, to make sure you are getting the flow rate you want. It's peristaltic so no worries about siphon, etc. The system is very expandable with just a tubing switch. These are lab grade components. The tubing only needs to be within the head - you can then convert it to whatever you want. A few members have some tubing, I got mine from Tom. Also available on ebay. Hope that answers your question.
  4. I had a couple spots on my rock like that as well. Always assumed it was some kind of sponge, but guess I was wrong.
  5. Update. The FREE ozone set up is back up for grabs. Also, you will not regret using the masterflex pump as an automatic water changer. Best investment I made in my reef second to the Waterbug sensors! 6. Thanks to everyone who has ventured onto post for pickup. I know it is a PIA for those not used to it. WIth the holiday, I'm out running errands this afternoon so I can meet folks off-post today through the weekend.
  7. Updated with whats available. Feel free to make offers.
  8. Yup. The 18 inch 1/2 inch segment with nozzle and male adapter I used for my return. $8. Easy to ship on your dime.
  9. As of this minute, everything is available except the ozone setup.
  10. Everything except the ozone.
  11. The waterbug is pretty neat. I had a a few overflows/leaks and wanted something to shut down the system if that happened. It's basically a dc powered breakout box that you hook a number of sensors to (I use three). When any of the sensors get wet the switch opens. You route the switch to an aqua controller breakout box and set the program to do whatever you want, alarms, return shut down, etc.
  12. Yup. If you are interested and buy it maybe we can meet at Justin's and use his tools.
  13. As is, no, it won't fit a CS1. But, my next build was going to a be a 90 gallon with a CS1 so I had a plan to modify the sump. Removing the return hose chamber will allow enough room. Easily accomplished with a dremel. If you take the sump, I'll help you do it. The return section is in the middle - that way I could control flow to the fuge either by splitting the overflow or the return pump.
  14. 2 years old Purchased March 2011 but only used for a month.
  15. I have four switches but was planning on keeping them for now.
  16. Ran closer to 14ish with the baffles but depends on if you put a DSB in the fuge. My tank was 30 gallons. Design was kind of based on the reef dynamics sump with improvements from Adam.
  17. Forgot about two items Avast MR5 reactor - 40 Avast K1 kalk stirrer - 90

  19. Sorry for the flubbed post. Don't sweat the difference in on/off pressures. There is some built in hysteresis in the pressure switch. I have alway set mine up from the top down. That is lower the tube into the water until you hear the click then back it off a smidge. I have four running in my system and they have all worked fine.
  20. I use it for my AC3. Works better for me than a wireless adapter.
