  4. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share this news with all of you that my 12 month old Fluval Edge Nano reef is featured on Nano-Reef.com. Here is the link to the TOTM page TOTM link to Nano-Reef I do think of it as an achievement since this is my first saltwater tank and it wouldn't be possible w/o all the knowledge and corals which i got from fellow WAMAS members and this forum. Its nothing compared to some of the bigger beautiful tanks I have seen here but its my little edge . Some of the corals which are the centerpiece of my aquarium were acquired from DerABT and trockafella so i would like to thank them too. Last but not least Ben from Petland was instumental in the coral choices I made and always was able to answer questions around compatability of corals in a small tank. Here is a link to a short video of my tank... . Thanks again, Dip

  7. Hey Guys, While on a business trip in Philippines I decided to take a short break to visit Coron, Palawan in Philippines. Coron is listed as one of the best sites to scuba dive but as you might see from these videos its also one of the best places to snorkel and snorkel I did . I am not a professional photographer and the videos were taken by cheap canon camera so you don't really see the true colors of the corals. I will upload some pictures and couple of more videos of watchman goby and shrimp together in their burrow. 1. This video shows some SPS and leather corals 2. Video of Tridacna Clams. I have seen giant clams before while snorkeling in great barrier reed but this was just amazing. So many different colors. http://www.youtube.c...u/2/WtvG6I9OQis 3. The next two video capture clownfish in anemone. In the second video you will see babies too. The big clownfish were approximately 5 inches long. http://www.youtube.c...u/1/b8T-O27Wz9U http://www.youtube.c...u/0/GpnnNBaEWTs Hope you guys enjoy these videos. I also saw lots of dead coral and there are multiple reasons for this but one of the major reason is the old fishing trawlers which constantly anchor near reefs and damage the corals. Only if the locals knew the importance of the corals. -Dip
