Hello everyone, I moved my 180 mixed reef with us back in May when we moved to a single family home. Everything is set up and doing well. The tank is in the basement again; however, we are rarely down there. Before, our TV room was in the basement with the fish tank so it was much more a part of our daily route. I need a small project to keep up the interest! My new sump is a trigger systems sump - and there's one drain plug left over. I'm thinking I could tie another small tank to the main system. The idea of a 300g upgrade crossed my mind - but won't want to move everything again! Would I be better off adding a small frag tank or maybe a species specific tank (e.g., angler, clownfish w/ anemone, etc)? OR, do I just be happy with a stable 180? Looking forward to your suggestions! Matt

How do you clean / sterilize equipment between tanks? For example, say I want to buy a used sump, skimmer, or powerhead. How do I clean it well enough to ensure there isn't any residual fish disease or treatment in the plastic from the previous owner? Does vinegar and water do the trick? Bleach terrifies me! Hello everyone, It looks like I'm going to be getting a slightly bigger tank. That being said, I'd like to have baffles installed in a new 40 breeder sump. Is anyone interested in making some money or trading for corals frags/fish for their help installing the baffles? I'll buy all the supplies if you install them! I made my last sump, but it doesn't look like I'll have time before we need to have this tank running. I need the sump to be cured and ready to use NO LATER THAN May 1 Please send pics of your handiwork if you'd like to help me take on this project. Thanks, Matt
