I've decided to go with the Koralia nano. I see them online for good prices. Thanks everyone. My tank is running at the same temp. Too warm?

I have a 12 gallon with about 12 different corals (softies) 5 blue legged hermits 1 skunk cleaner shrimp 1 false perc clown I feed daily - but very little My Fission really only gets "gunk" in the filter ring. No skimmate to brag about

I have been watching the skimmer thread and wondered how many people have a skimmer on their nanos. My 12 gallon has a Fission Nano Protein Skimmer by Current USA - but collects very little skimate. How about the rest of you? skimmer or no skimmer and your thoughts on them on small tanks.

Another question - I have a 12 gallon so i am careful with my water quality. Should I be removing the molt or is it better t leave it in the tank?

Ok - I was beginning to worry. I feed my clown and shrimp a tiny bit each night of flake food (teeny tiny) and they are both pigs! Both will eat out of my hand. Once a week I feed frozen brine shrimp as well. Small amounts do to the small tank size.

I added a Skunk Cleaner Shrimp to my tank about three weeks ago and it has shed 2 times already - is that normal? I didn't find anyone on the net to say otherwise. thanks~

I had Thelma and Louis in my tank (2 false percs) Louise must have gone over the cliff (tank) she disappeared one day never to be seen again. Weird.

This is great information - thanks everyone and I am ging to look at replacing mine since I really don't feel my flow is sufficient.

I have one power head in my 12 gallon, but not sure if its enough. I have a cyno bloom on the opposite side so circulation may be the problem. How many powers heads should I have and how should I place them and direct the flow? Thanks!

My corpse was never seen - just became part of the bio food chain so to speak. It its not as crystal clear as the ones in the pictures - there is a lot of ditris when the water is disturbed.
