  1. Thanks!!! The green or the pink? I have about 10 frags of the pink growing. It grew a lot faster then I was expecting it to and where it is in the tank it ends up touching the front glass after a couple of weeks If I don't keep it trimmed back. BRK all the way for those awesome ORAs!!!!
  2. You know a 20 High with a mini rock island would be pretty cool!
  3. Thanks!! Sumerduck is actually off of 17 south of 29 and the population is 28 thank you very much. LOL Thanks!! Thanks Sumerduck is just a spot on the map.
  4. What an amazing tank! I am speachless!
  5. Beautiful job!! Very creative using the eggcrate on the back of the tank like that. I might have to steal that idea. hehe..
  6. Wow Chip! Awesome looking tanks! I'm not sure what I'm more impressed with, your anemone farm, your main display, that monster clam, or your frag tank. I would love to come over and pick your brain some especially on the anemone farm!! I totally agree with you on the mangroves. I picked them up because I'm a plant guy as well!! I only have 2 and they are just now starting to really tanke off I'd like to do something similar to what you have, but on a slightly larger scale. Anyway, great looking tanks!!
  7. Ah yes! I see it now. It really looks like duncan in that pic though...Very cool!!
  8. Very nice!! Is that Duncan in the second pic?
  9. Thanks Connor!! As for equipment there isn't anything too special on the tank. I have dual 175w MH (10000K) dual 110w VHO actinics and 2x54w T5 super actinics for lighting. I have an ASM G4X recirculating skimmer. Tunze Nano Streams for flow and that's pretty much it. Under the tank I have a 3 stage sump with a 20g tall as my fuge that is packed with Macro and LR. The green cap is GIANT!!! It's well over the size of a dinner plate and I have fragged the heck out of it. I wish my orange would grow that quickly.
  10. Well I haven't posted on here much heck I've only been a member for a little over a month but I thought since everyone else is showing off I would post some pics of my tank as well. The first pic is from the beginning and the photo quality isn't that great. So here we go. Jan 2006 Feb 2008 Now for some other shots of the tank.
  11. WOW Bob! Looks great! I haven't seen you at BRK lately but I also haven't been up there on my usual Thursday schedule.
  12. Wow dude! That is awesome! I just joined WAMAS a month ago and haven't checked the site out much. You have an amazing setup!! I love the height of the tank!
  13. Thanks for the invite! I'll have to take you up on that some time!
  14. BRK...not much to say that hasn't already been said. I'm a regular there pretty much every week, sometimes a couple times a week. If you haven't been to BRK it is well worth the trip! John and his crew can answer your questions and if he doesn't have it chances are he just sold the last one and can get it for you! I would say that 90% of my live stock has come from his store. I've been to just about every other LFS in the area but I always go back to see John. Great guy, great shop! Allen

  16. Hello everyone! Well at the behest of many of my reefer friends I have finally joined WAMAS! I'm glad to be here and look forward to going to the meeting in April and becoming an active member of this organization! I'm from Chattanooga, TN originally but grew up as a military brat so I've been from Alaska to Georgia and many places between, before landing in VA. My wife, son and I live in Sumerduck, VA (for those of you who don't know that is south of Warrenton and north of Fredericksburg off route 17). Right now I have a 72g Bow front mixed reef with a 210g upgrade coming in the next few months.
