  11. just to chime in again, honestly what i felt when my tank hit the floor i would NOT wish on anyone here
  12. i wouldnt chance it either. I tried moving a 12 gallon nano and lifted the stand up and put those furniture sliders under it for carpet. BAD IDEA! The shifing wieght caused a instability in the stand and resulted in structural failure of the stand. The stand folded like a deck of cards and the tank just about exploded! I Lost the tank but saved all inhabitants. Lesson learned. I learned on a 12 gallon the hard way, take it from me, deal with the pain in the duff with draining and moving and save yourself the heartbreak and $$$$$$ BUT to end on a happy note , I'm upgrading from a nano to a 75g
  13. interested in your corals pm sent
  14. Sounds good ! Thanks for the quick response!
  15. Just checking that i can add distilled water directly to the tank. I have been using Nutri-Seawater for some water changes and need to top off with clean water so i dont jack the SG way up. thanx
  16. When the bta gets to big for the tank , i have a friend with a large reef tank that will take him when the time comes.
  17. COOL ! Are nano's up for consideration?
  18. the anemone is doing well, although he didnt like it when i just tried to move him. He scrunched himself up into that tunnel i was talking about. But he is eating well , he ate a small piece of shrimp earlier today.
  19. Fist off I was pointed here by an existing member as I am new to reef keeping (setup in signature). I have been successful thus far due to alot of outside help from experienced people. I am glad to be a member (application pending) and want to say thanks for the information this site has provided so far. My question is I have a new green bubble anemone and he has taken resident over the opening to one of my tunnels in the LR. I would really like him to move, I am curious if I move him will he crawl right back to where he was or will he find a comfortable spot close to where i have moved him (keeping in mind this a 12g tank and he would basically be moved from one side to the other.) Thanks again
