My first bit of advise is to join WAMAS as a paid member, this allows you view the Forum to post for sale and WTB items. Tanks and equipment are posted almost everyday with some giving fellow WAMAS members awesome deals.

I use a large plastic trashcan for my RO water supply (also used for top off) and have a smaller separate one for mixing salt. The smaller one was filled with a 5 gal bucket and I made marks to show the amount of saltwater to be made. I check all final S.G. after 24 hours of mixing before making a waterchange.

What is your pH? Increase your to 8.3 and then increase your Alk with twopart and then finally add Ca to the correct amount. It really is a balancing act with three components. Check out randy holmes articles or do a google search using "aquarium two part".

It's a 65 gal, so 24 inches. Going to be a mixed coral tank with 4 x39 T5 and 1 VHO .

Hello all,
I should be getting my T5 retrofit kit soon. I want to start making plans on how low to mount them above the water. So, to the T5 users out there, how low do you have your mounted?

I use a rubber band to make them stick. Just make sure they are not too tight.
